  • How can this help me?

Identity fraud and data breaches are a growing concern for many. Allstate Identity Protection has continued to innovate their solutions to the dangers of identity theft, offering extensive monitoring and up to $1 million expense and stolen funds reimbursement. Their service provides 24/7 access to in-house experts who can fully take on remediation and restoration in the event of fraud or identity theft.

  • Who is eligible?

Protect yourself and your loved ones with a family plan that includes senior family coverage for parents, in-laws, and grandparents over the age of 65, as well as everyone “under your roof and wallet”.

  • When can I enroll?

Enroll anytime! Sign up year-round to begin protecting yourself and your family.

  • What if my employment status changes?

If you leave or retire from your current employer, you can continue your coverage without interruption, subject to applicable law and the policy’s terms and conditions. Although payroll deduction will no longer be available, you can opt for direct bank account deduction, credit card billing, or home billing. Higher rates may apply.

  • My bank/credit card offers identity protection. Why would I need Allstate Identity Protection?

Allstate Identity Protection invests considerable resources into developing and advancing identity theft technology, and spends hours learning how identity thieves work. This means that these identity protection services are far broader and more comprehensive than a bank or credit card, which is usually based only on credit. Not only do the these services monitor it all, but also fully manage and restore your identity in the case of fraud, which means you do none of the legwork. Finally, an up to $1 million identity theft insurance policy means you don’t have to cover the costs of recovering your identity.

  • Is it safe to give Allstate Identity Protection my information?

Allstate Identity Protection's comprehensive information security policy applies to all of its employees, consultants, contractors, and vendors:

    • Your information is stored solely in an encrypted data center on non-public networks behind firewalls using network address translation and address control lists
    • Security protocols enable only a limited number of professionals to access data on a need-to-know basis
    • All facilities utilize the latest security measures, as well as state-of-the-art surveillance and alarm systems

If you have any questions about this identity protection service, you can contact Allstate Identity Protection at 1-800-789-2720.

  • What happens if payroll deductions cease?

If, while on unpaid LOA, you have three consecutive pay periods without a deduction, you will be offered to move to a direct bill option through Allstate Identity Protection. Once you are actively back at work, please reach out to Allstate in order to resume payroll deduction.
